1. Transfer the load of the upper structure
The pot type support uniformly transfers the vertical load (self weight, vehicle load, crowd load, etc.) of the bridge beam or building roof truss to the lower pier or foundation through the internal steel pot, rubber plate, and upper seat plate combination structure; At the same time, it can withstand horizontal loads (wind load, earthquake action, vehicle braking force), avoiding cracking and damage caused by local stress concentration in the structure. It is suitable for engineering scenarios with high loads, such as large-span bridges (such as continuous beam bridges, cable-stayed bridges), heavy-duty steel structure factories, and large-span venues.
2. Adapt to multi-directional deformation of the structure
Bridges may generate vertical angles and horizontal displacements under temperature changes and load, while building structures may deform due to settlement and wind vibration. Basin type supports compensate for deformation through their own structural design. In terms of vertical corners, the PTFE sliding plate and rubber pressure pad embedded in the support have elasticity and can rotate with the end of the beam, ensuring a tight fit between the beam and the support without any looseness; In terms of horizontal displacement, the low friction coefficient (≤ 0.03) of the PTFE sliding plate allows the beam to slide freely along the longitudinal or transverse direction when the temperature changes, reducing the additional stress on the structure.

Unidirectional movable bowl type supports allow the upper structure to slide in one direction (longitudinal), limiting lateral displacement, and are suitable for the expansion end of continuous beams in bridges and longitudinal expansion joints in large-span factory buildings. Bidirectional active pot type supports allow the upper structure to slide in both directions along the longitudinal and transverse directions, and are suitable for bridge curved sections, wide bridges, and buildings in high-intensity earthquake zones. The anti-seismic basin type bearing is equipped with a built-in damper, which can absorb seismic energy, limit seismic displacement, and is suitable for bridges and large public buildings in areas with seismic intensity ≥ 8 degrees.
