GQZ series spherical bearing is a kind of steel bearing with spherical force transmission+polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sliding as the core. Its core characteristics are large bearing capacity, flexible rotation, large displacement, aging resistance and good seismic resistance. It is widely used in highway/railway bridges, steel structure grids, stadium domes, etc.

1、 Core structure
      Upper support plate, ball crown lining plate (core), lower support concave plate
Flat+spherical PTFE skateboard (coated with silicone grease, with oil storage pit)
Rubber sealing ring/dust cover (anti fouling and waterproof)
2、 Main features
1. Spherical force transmission, uniform force distribution
      Spherical contact, smooth force flow, no "necking" phenomenon, uniform distribution of reaction force in the lower structure, and low stress concentration.
      High bearing capacity: 1000-6000kN, covering the needs of small to large spans.
2. Universal rotation, large angle, low friction
      Consistent rotation in all directions, small rotational torque, and independent of the size of the rotation angle (only related to the spherical radius and friction coefficient).
The design angle is ≥ 0.05rad (≈ 2.86 °), which can achieve 0.08rad and is suitable for wide bridges, curved bridges, sloping bridges, and irregular structures.
      Low friction coefficient: μ ≤ 0.03 (-25 ℃~+60 ℃), no jamming at low temperatures, smooth rotation.
3. Strong displacement capability, adaptable to various working conditions
      There are three types: fixed (GD), unidirectional (DX), and bidirectional (SX); Radial ± 20~± 50mm, circumferential ± 60~± 100mm, meeting the requirements of temperature, shrinkage, and creep displacement.
      It can withstand tensile/compressive/shear forces, with a horizontal resistance of about 20% of the vertical bearing capacity and a pull-out resistance of up to 20% to 30% (depending on the model).
4. No rubber bearing, durable and anti-aging
      The core load-bearing does not rely on rubber, avoiding problems such as rubber aging, hardening, and low-temperature brittleness. It has a long service life and requires minimal maintenance, making it suitable for harsh environments such as severe cold, exposure to sunlight, and coastal areas.
      Sealed dust-proof design, internal PTFE skateboard is not easily contaminated or worn, and has stable long-term performance.
5. Excellent seismic performance, safe and reliable
      High stiffness and clear force transmission, it can effectively isolate and limit earthquakes, reduce the risk of beam falling, and adapt to high-intensity earthquake areas.
      Can be equipped with seismic/vibration reduction components (GKQZ/GJQZ/GKGZ/GJGZ type), which have both rigid seismic and flexible vibration reduction functions.
6. Easy installation and maintenance, good economy
      Compact in structure, low in height, and smaller in size than basin type supports with the same load-bearing capacity, saving materials and space.
